Case Studies

Aircraft Charter

20:00LT Jet Connections received a phone call from one of our clients operating on his private jet from Luton - Jeddah. Due to a technical fault on his jet, the aircraft was grounded but he needed to proceed ASAP due to business commitments on the following day.

By 22:00LT our operations department had managed to locate a suitable aircraft out of Luton at a very competitive rate and the flight was conducted to the full satisfaction of the client and his family.

Aircraft Delivery

A client appointed us to take delivery of one of his brand new aircrafts, our specialist aircraft engineer lead the project. During the delivery process and upon viewing the aircraft for the first time we noticed that the manufacturer had not fully completed the paint scheme as per the approved rendering. The manufacturers were used to delivering this type of aircraft without painting the sealant around the fuel and inspection panels located on the lower side of the fuselage and under the wings. Our engineer lodged his dissatisfaction with the delivery team and insisted that all panels must be painted before we could approve the delivery.

Due to our insistence, the manufacturers decided to re-paint the lower half of the aircraft to comply with our engineers request and approved rendering. At the delivery ceremony, the President of the manufacturer who conducted the handover was pleasantly surprised to see his own aircraft completely painted. He instructed his delivery team to paint all aircraft in the same way from that point onwards and until this day they are still being finished in this way.

Aircraft Sale & Acquisition

After receiving a mandate from one of our clients to acquire a specific type of aircraft, we immediately contacted a number of our close business associates to locate his choice of aircraft. A number of aircraft were located on the market which complied with his required specifications.

Despite locating a number of pre-owned aircraft we managed to negotiate with an aircraft manufacturer to provide a brand new aircraft as per his specification with a price not much higher than a pre-owned aircraft. The owner decided to go ahead a purchase a brand new aircraft since it had 5 years warranty and he was able to design the interior to his liking.

Aircraft Detailing

Having received an urgent call from the operations at Farnborough airport, Jet Connections responded to the request for help with tomato juice spilt on the interior cream carpet, the owners were impressed with the response time and the end result, a spotlessly clean carpet with no stains.

An unusual request came through to Jet connections to valet the interior of the ORBIS flying eye hospital aircraft, the team responded and provided an excellent service, with outstanding results, taking in to account the highest degree of hygiene and standards required for this specialist work.
